Volunteer

Hundreds of Gabriel Network volunteers have sacrificially given of themselves to our client moms and their babies over the years. Help us bring about hope and change to pregnant women by empowering them to make vital choices for a better life for them and their children. You can do this by volunteering to work at one of many locations as a:

• Coordinator/Assistant Coordinator
• Designated Driver
• Trained Client Care "Helpline" Assistant
• Angel Friend
• Seasonal Event & Office Admin Support

You may not be able to support this ministry with a financial gift but you still have a very special opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ and a catalyst of His love and grace, "unto the least of these" through volunteer work with the Gabriel Network - won't you join us?

What is an Angel Friend?

The Angel Friend program is the cornerstone of The Gabriel Network. It allows women in local communities to come alongside pregnant mothers and provide practical, emotional and spiritual support. Why is this important? For practical reasons, yes: these women help our clients with grocery store runs, doctor’s visits, driving them to church, etc. More importantly, however, is the personal and trusted bond that begins to form.

The unconditional love, commitment and selflessness shown by our Angel Friends opens the door for the Gospel message to be shared – through both words AND the example of Christ’s love in action. Angel Friends ensure that a woman does not have to walk her journey alone; there are people who deeply care, not only for the baby she is carrying, but for the woman herself: she is valued, she is precious, she is loved. Relationships built between our volunteers and clients are the Gabriel Network’s primary means of delivering service. They are our witness to Christ’s love for our clients and the world at large.
